This may cause some temporary inconvenience, including noise whilst the work is being carried out.

Please note that the toilets and the museum shelter will be temporarily unavailable during the renovation period. If necessary, you may use the portable toilets located on the museum grounds.

Renovation work is currently underway at the museum to improve the comfort and safety of our premises

On 25 May, the National Museum of the History of Ukraine officially opened the exhibition «PATH OF HEROES: In Memory of Symon Petliura». Created with the support of the Pylyp Orlyk Foundation, this remarkable project is of great importance for restoring the integrity of Ukrainian historical memory.

The National Museum of the History of Ukraine was participating in the UKRAINIAN CULTURE SECURITY FORUM 2.0, which took place in Warsaw on 7–8 May. The event was organized by the OBMIN Foundation in cooperation with Ukrainian, Polish, and German governmental and non-governmental institutions.

In Warsaw, a Russian archaeologist, Alexander Butyagin, head of the Hermitage department, was arrested. He has been wanted in Ukraine since last November for participating in illegal excavations in the temporarily occupied Crimea.
