If you work in cultural heritage or are interested in organising digitisation projects, join the DIGICURE project’s series of online seminars. During these sessions, representatives from international organisations will share their experiences with Ukrainian specialists. You will have the opportunity to learn more about innovative digitisation projects directly from their creators, as well as seek advice on developing international cooperation.

The four webinars will cover the following topics:

-    European cooperation in the field of cultural heritage;

-    digital museum;

-    digital built cultural heritage;

-    digital technologies and research infrastructure.

The working language of the sessions is English. The webinars will subsequently be published on YouTube with Ukrainian subtitles.

The first webinar will take place on 16 September, starting at 14:00 in Kyiv (13:00 CET). The topic is “European cultural heritage collaboration”.

• Jonathan Westin – Associate Professor in Conservation and Acting Director, Gothenburg Research Infrastructure in Digital Humanities (GRIDH), University of Gothenburg

In the first part of the meeting, the speakers will present initiatives related to heritage preservation, and after a short break, there will be an opportunity to discuss these presentations and ask questions. Key topics for discussion:

• how Ukrainian and international European organisations in the field of cultural heritage can build sustainable partnerships;
• what foreign organisations can learn from Ukraine’s experience in protecting cultural heritage;
• how European networks and initiatives can facilitate the mutual exchange of knowledge, experience and resources.
