Friends and visitors, we have an important announcement for you!

The National Museum of the History of Ukraine and the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine are temporarily closed.

From 17 June to 1 July 2026, the building at 2 Volodymyrska Street will be closed for renovation.

We are very sorry, but this work is essential to refresh the space and make the museum even more visitor-friendly.

However, the museum is not stopping its work and is switching to a different format. We have already prepared special programmes, guided tours and interesting events for you. Keep an eye out for announcements so you don’t miss a thing!

We will provide further details on how the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine will operate a little later.
