The exhibition «Treasures of Crimea. The Return» has opened at the Treasury of the National Museum of the History of Ukraine with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, the BGV Charitable Foundation, and the Institute of Public Communications. Until the de-occupation of the peninsula, «Scythian gold» will be displayed there.

There are 565 exhibits, comprising over 2,000 museum items, whose return was preceded by 10 years of legal battles over ownership rights between Ukraine and museums located in Russian-controlled territories.

«Treasures of Crimea. The Return» is an exhibition about a powerful victory in the fight for Ukraines cultural heritage, a testament to our millennia-long history, revealed through the cultures of many peoples, and the affirmation of the rule of law.

Project partners include Uklon, PrivatBank, and Vodafone. Media partners are Ukrinform, Suspilne, hromadske, 1+1 media, Fakty ICTV, Vikna-Novyny, Harper’s Bazaar, and Elle Ukraine.
